there is a story to how phase one karma got where it is.

In 2014, not long after we had finished universities and had gotten into the tech world, we had an idea. There were ways in which artificial intelligence could help universities become more transparent — and we knew how to apply them. It was a match, and it turned into Unicheck.

As more amazing people were joining us and our product was growing, we realized: hey, we are good at this. That is when Phase One Karma was born — a company that would create tech products and transforms state-of-the-art technologies into something meaningful.

Node.js Developer

What we need:

  • 2+ commercial experience with Node.js
  • Experience with Linux/Unix system;
  • REST API development experience;
  • Decent knowledge of SQL and RDBMS solutions;
  • Experience with containerized applications;
  • Basic knowledge of AWS/GCE;
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP stack and REST principles for integration with 3rd-party vendors;
  • Experience with in-memory storages, NoSQL are appreciated;
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills;
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile;
  • Good spoken and written English.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in developing web crawling solutions.

What you will do:

  • Develop crawlers and web scrapers;
  • Design and implement databases for storing millions of scraped records;
  • Design and implement REST applications;
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions;
  • Communicate with PM and UI/UX team.
